Design Disruptors, nobilia, establishes growth potential within U.S. markets

Miami, FL – (January 7, 2020) – nobilia, Europe’s leading kitchen manufacturer, has their sights set on owning the design disruptor concept of European Kitchen Furniture at KBIS 2020 located in the South Hall, Booth SL610, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. As they look to build an entirely new category within the U.S. market, the brand will showcase the award-winning and intelligently engineered integrated living concepts within their massive 80’ x 50’ booth. With a multitude of custom design options and the capabilities to adjust the framework to fit within one’s ergonomic preferences, nobilia’s category of European Kitchen Furniture made in Germany goes far beyond the permanent frameless cupboards with shelves that Americans have grown accustomed to. 

nobilia will return to KBIS for the third year in a row to present their latest designs of authentic European Kitchen Furniture made in Germany, within their nine show-stopping vignettes. Showcasing innovative lines and imaginative next-generation kitchen concepts, the nobilia booth will serve as a platform to display the brand’s esteemed collections, while representing the sophistication and evolution of modern-day entertaining.

In addition to the unprecedented designs nobilia will be presenting at their booth, you can also follow Mikael Akerberg, CEO, nobilia North America, as he participates alongside a panel of industry experts at the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) State of the Industry/ State of the Association on January 22 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (room N109, beginning at 8:45 a.m. at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) this year. There, Akerberg will join the discussion and touch on topics ranging from shifts within the economy and the cost of goods and materials all the way to tariffs and the shortage in skilled labor. “nobilia’s goal of introducing an entirely new category called European Kitchen Furniture, is a direct reflection of the NKBA trend data which shows a significant shift from traditional to European contemporary design and we look forward to the welcomed growth potential from both millennial and boomer segments in North America” said Mikael Akerberg, CEO, nobilia North America. 

Also on Thursday, January 23rd at 11:15 AM Design Milk & Modenus (DMM) Lounge located in the South Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center, will host an invitation-only discussion on “European Kitchen Furniture – Why?” Marcus Haderlein, Chief Operating Officer, nobilia North America, will participate in a conversation on European manufacturing and design methods, as well as a comparison between U.S. And European design trends.
